What is the NowPatient Compounded Rx Savings service?

NowPatient has partnered with Life Rx Solutions, a US-based clinical-grade compounding supplier, to give you access to affordable, high-quality compounded wellness medications without the complexity of obtaining them through existing channels. The service provides access to compounded GLP-1s, NAD+, hormone therapies, and peptides at transparent pricing, regardless of insurance status.

Who is this service suitable for?

This service is suitable for individuals with a valid US physician’s prescription who are seeking access to compounded GLP-1s, NAD+, hormone therapies, or peptides at transparent pricing. This is a cash-pay program — insurance status does not affect eligibility.

Is this a cash-pay program?

Yes. This is a cash-pay program and cannot be combined with insurance, copay cards, or coupons. Payments are considered out-of-pocket expenses.

Which states does this service ship to?

NowPatient and Life Rx Solutions ship to all 50 US states. This is a US-only program with domestic sourcing only.

Is it safe to buy compounded medications online through this service?

Yes. NowPatient has carried out thorough due diligence on Life Rx Solutions to ensure the highest standards of safety and service. All medications are compounded in US facilities that meet rigorous quality benchmarks. See the Quality Standards section below for full details.

Do I need a prescription?

Yes. A valid US physician’s prescription is required for every order. This is a legal requirement and cannot be bypassed.

What type of prescription is accepted?

Prescriptions must be sent as a valid eScript (electronic prescription) directed to Life Rx Solutions’ NPI. Paper or faxed prescriptions are not accepted through this program. Please confirm your physician is set up for electronic prescribing before placing your order.

How does my doctor send the prescription?

Ask your prescribing physician to send an eScript directly to Life Rx Solutions’ NPI at the point of ordering. Life Rx Solutions’ licensed pharmacists will then review the inbound eScript to confirm validity, clinical appropriateness, and dosing accuracy. The team may contact your physician if any clarification is needed.

What happens during prescription verification?

Once your eScript is received, Life Rx Solutions’ licensed pharmacists review it to confirm validity, clinical appropriateness, and dosing accuracy. Verification typically takes 1–2 business days. You will be notified once verification is complete.

What compounded products are available through this service?

How do I place an order through the Compounded Rx Savings service?

The Compounded Rx Savings Service Card is located in the Drug Savings section of your account homepage. From the Options menu, select ‘Search Medication’, then follow these eight steps:

  1. Go to the Compounded Rx Savings Service Card: Navigate to the Drug Savings section of your account homepage. From the Options menu, select ‘Search Medication’.

  2. Search your medication: Begin typing the first few letters of your medication name into the search bar. A dropdown will display all available compounded medications, along with strength, quantity, and pricing information.

  3. Review medication summary and pricing: Once you have selected your medication, a full summary will appear showing the compound details, dosage form, strength, quantity, and pricing. Review carefully to ensure the details match your prescription.

  4. Confirm and continue: Confirm all information is correct, then select the ‘Continue’ button to proceed with your order.

  5. Send your prescription via eScript to Life Rx Solutions: You must supply a valid prescription via eScript (electronic prescribing) directed to Life Rx Solutions’ NPI. Ask your prescribing physician to send the eScript directly to Life Rx Solutions’ NPI at the point of ordering. Paper or faxed prescriptions are not accepted.

  7. Order processing and compounding (within 2 days of verified Rx): Your medication is carefully compounded to order in a USP <797>/<800>-compliant sterile facility, with quality checks at every stage. Batch COAs — formal verification that a product meets established specifications for quality and safety — are maintained for every order.

  8. Shipped to your door: Your order is dispatched, most within 2 business days of compounding completion. You will receive a tracking number via in-app, push, and email notification. Medications are delivered in appropriate pharmaceutical packaging to maintain stability and integrity.

How do I reorder my refills from my account?

When you place your first order with NowPatient, your available refills will automatically appear under the Reorder option on your Compounded Rx Savings Service Card — once we have received your prescription.

After your first dispense, simply select Reorder at any time to request your next refill. Reordering follows the same checkout process, but you won’t need to upload your prescription again — we already have it on file. Just complete the checkout screen and we’ll take care of the rest.

Please note, if your refills have run out, you will need to provide a new prescription before we can process your reorder. You can upload a new Rx directly through your account or arrange one with your physician and have it sent to us.

How long does delivery take?

From receipt of a verified eScript, most orders are processed and dispatched within 2 business days. Allow 1–2 additional days for prescription verification. Total time from verified prescription to delivery is typically 3–7 business days.

How will I know when my order has shipped?

You will receive a tracking number via in-app notification, push notification, and email once your order has been dispatched.
